Illinois Central College - Web Curriculum

e-Commerce Certificate

ICC offers a certificate in e-commerce. The focus of this certificate is on practical application of Internet technologies and business concept fundamentals. Students get the opportunity to develop e-commerce sites which can take credit card payments. Emphasis is on both development of consumer sites as well as business sites (including overview of supply chain concepts and related materials). Some classes are offered in an Internet-only format so that students do not need to physically attend ICC to obtain this knowledge. Students will be expected to install a significant amount of software on their own computers (if they choose the Internet-only options). Students will also have access to the ICC virtual lab for those software components which are unavailable as free developer editions.
