Curriculum overview
Details regarding specific courses, course objectives and prerequisites will be found in the Flash document below.
ICC offers a certificate for web development. This curriculum maps closely with the WOW curriculum (and was developed at the same time). Students completing this curriculum should be prepared to take the WOW Web Developer Associate Certification Exam (if they desire). This exam can be taken via ICC as well. The emphasis is on programming in a web environment. Although various technologies are presented, the program overall is vendor neutral. Many classes are offered in an Internet-only format so that students do not need to physically attend ICC to obtain this knowledge. Students will be expected to install a significant amount of software on their own computers (if they choose the Internet-only options). Students will also have access to the ICC virtual lab for those software components which are unavailable as free developer editions.
