Welded Metal Sculpture Contest at ICC

Teams of four members, artists and welders, will have 8 hours on Saturday to create the best piece of art work they can. We hope to build this contest in to one of the major arts events in the central Illinois area!

If any of our members would like to help with this event we would appreciate it. This type of event will require metal to make it a success. We would like to have some sheets of steel but we also will need interesting pieces of metal, scrap steel, odd lengths of pip, rebar and what people may just call junk. If you have some steel that you may want to donate call Eric Ockerhausen at Illinois Central College, (309) 694-5767.

This event is open to the public.
