Robert Salaz, Illinois Central College welding student and officer in the Peoria Section Student Chapter, placed second in the state SkillsUSA/VICA welding contest held this spring in Springfield. Robert has been an active member this year, attending the AWS Welding Expo in Chicago and competing in the annual Peoria Section Welding Contest.
