The September 18th meeting of the
Peoria Chapter of the American Welding Society (AWS)
was held at Jumers and paid tribute to all the Past
Chairs of the AWS Chapter. The Guest speaker was Jim
Greer, Vice President of the American Welding Society.
Vice President Greer spoke on the topic of "AWS
certification/ how companies can save money. The Student
chapter of the AWS held their first meeting that night
with students from the Illinois School of Welding and
ICC in attendance. |
